COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather – For Filling Surface Damage
Fluid Leather is best suited for repairs involving cracks, holes, or surface damage that requires filling. It is not intended for minor surface wear or scratches. For light scuffs or color wear, we recommend first smoothing the area using the COLOURLOCK Leather Sanding Pad and then restoring the color with COLOURLOCK Leather Fresh.
After application and drying, Fluid Leather creates a smooth, glossy finish. To blend the repair seamlessly, apply COLOURLOCK Leather Fresh in the correct color. Gently dab the product over the filled area using a sponge, drying each layer with a hair dryer between coats until the desired coverage is achieved. This helps tone down the gloss and match the surrounding leather.
Before beginning any repair:
-
Clean and degrease the surface with COLOURLOCK Degreaser to remove oils and care residues.
-
Use the Leather Sanding Pad to smooth out rough spots or scratches prior to applying Fluid Leather.
-
Important: If you're treating stiff, aged leather, apply Fluid Leather before using COLOURLOCK Old Leather Softener, as oils can prevent proper adhesion.
