It’s a great way for professional detailers to refine their skills, and for hobbyists to get engaged with professional detailing products and techniques. Includes live demos and hands-on supervised practice. This comprehensive yet compact clinic packs in a whirlwind of information, including:
- Proper Selection, Handling & Storage of Chemicals
- Step-by-step procedures for maximum efficiency and best results
- Brief overview of business administration concerns for a detail operation
- Interior Detailing Procedures & Techniques, including:
- Carpet cleaning and stain removal
- Proper use of steam machine and hot water extractor
- Cleaning and dressing interior panels
- Leather care
- Getting windows streak-free clean
- Exterior Detailing Procedures & Techniques, including:
- Washing options
- Removing several types of paint surface contamination like iron fallout, tar, tree sap, bugs
- Identification and solutions for paint imperfections
- Choosing the right polisher, pad, and polishing chemical
- Proper Buffer/Polisher Handling Skills
- Paint protection options, including ceramic coating
Taught by 31-year detailing industry trainer Prentice St. Clair (IDA CD-SV-RVC, RIT) of Detail in Progress, Inc. Prentice was the Director of Training at P&S Detailing Products for five years and ran the Hayward headquarters Detailing Training Studio. You will receive the same expert training without having to travel to Northern California!
